    Fall 2009 Tutoring

AMSA Tutoring is designed to help our members get the academic assistance they need to succeed in their classes. We try to set up a qualified tutor with a student to tutor for the semester. By tutoring/being tutored by one person consistently, the tutor and student are able to recognize each other's strengths and use them to their advantage. Not only is tutoring a way to get points for helping a peer, it is also a great way to solidify your own foundations and review topics you may need to recall for the MCAT.

Tutors can get up to 30 points for their participation, based on the consistency of the tutoring and the total number of hours tutored. You must have taken the class you wish to tutor in at Baylor and have received an A. Please turn in a copy of your transcript with your Tutor Application in order to verify this. The Tutor Application can be accessed here and turned into D.108 at any point during the semester.

Students that would like to be tutored can turn in a tutoring form to D.108 at any point in the semester. The Request for Tutoring Form can also be accessed here
